Mass Effect: Dissension
Councilor Innelis Thodion has held her position as the Asari representative to The Citadel Council for forty-three years, as of the year 2177. A stern and taciturn woman, Thodion has a reputation for brutal efficiency, and much of her policy, particularly in recent years, has been concerned with maintaining security in Council space, particularly since the Batarian diplomatic withdrawal and the subsequent Skyllian conflict. Working closely with the citadel navy, various goverments and NGOs, and particularly the SPECTRE corps, Thodion has spearheaded efforts to rid Council territories of slavery and piracy.
Speculation abounds that Thodion’s firm stand against crime arises not only from a sense of personal justice, but also from a personal vendetta. When details of the tragic New Valshof Incident were released to the public, it became known that among those abducted was Councilor Thodion’s niece and adopted daughter, whom she never saw again after the kidnappings.
